Shirt Care

Protect Your Print. Extend Your Style.

1. Turn Your Shirt Inside Out Before Washing

This helps protect the printed design from friction and abrasion caused by washing and drying. Always wash your shirt inside out to extend the life of the print.

2. Use Cold Water & Gentle Cycle

Wash your shirt in cold water using a gentle or delicate cycle. Hot water can weaken the ink and fabric fibers, causing designs to fade or peel prematurely.

3. Use Mild, Non-Bleach Detergent

Opt for a mild detergent that doesn’t contain bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh chemicals. These ingredients can damage both the print and the shirt itself.

4. Avoid Washing with Heavy or Zippered Items

To prevent damage, wash your custom shirt with similar fabrics and avoid mixing it with items that have zippers, hooks, or rough textures.

5. Air Dry is Best – Or Use Low Heat

For optimal results, hang your shirt to air dry. If you must use a dryer, set it to the lowest heat setting or “tumble dry low.” High heat can cause prints to crack or shrink.

6. Do Not Iron Directly Over the Design

If ironing is needed, turn the shirt inside out or place a cloth or parchment paper over the design before ironing. Never apply direct heat to the print.

7. Avoid Dry Cleaning

Dry cleaning chemicals and processes can permanently damage custom prints. Stick to at-home care for the best results.

Final Tips:

  • Wash with like colors to avoid color bleeding.
  • Do not wring out the shirt after washing.
  • Store folded in a cool, dry place – avoid hanging printed areas for long periods.
